•CanaRío Cachaça produced by the Fazenda Soledade distillery in Rio state, a Brazilian family enterprise established in 1827, and has been producing premium cachaca ever since.
•CanaRío is one of the oldest known Brazilian Cachaça brands that is still made today.
•CanaRio Cachaca is produced using the elaborate, and for cachaca unusual, method of double distillation in copper pot stills.
•The cachaca is made by pressing the sugar cane within 24 hours of it being harvested to create the juice which in turn is used to create this refreshing spirit. The water used for this comes from a mountain spring, which is constantly monitored in order to preserve its pure, clear and soft quality.
•Certainly the most well-known and most popular drink made with CanaRio Cachaça is Caipirinha, an exciting mix of Cachaça, crushed ice and lime, plus white cane sugar.
